The Illinois Commerce Commission has posted updated “Price to Compare” information for ComEd and Ameren Illinois residential customers at its consumer education website PluginIllinois.org.  With the wide variety of electric supply choices available to customers in the Ameren Illinois and ComEd service territories, it is important for customers to compare competing offers against the utility Price to Compare.

The updated Price to Compare reflects the estimated electric supply and transmission services charges effective for Ameren Illinois and ComEd for June 1, 2014 through May 31, 2015. The actual Transmission Services Charge for Ameren Illinois will not be known until on or around May 20, 2014, meaning Ameren Illinois’ Prices to Compare are subject to slight changes. In addition, ComEd’s rates for October 2014 through May 2015 are subject to change following an additional electric supply procurement scheduled for September 2014.
